--FILLING SYSTEM GUIDE--

Choose the Right Filling System for Your Product

Free-Flowing Sauces & Oils

Recommended System: Magnetic pump or flowmeter filling

Suitable for edible oil, liquid seasoning, thin sauces and other free-flowing products. Magnetic pumps are suitable for smaller filling volumes, while flowmeters are preferred for higher-volume production.

Medium-Viscosity Sauces

Recommended System: Servo piston filling

Suitable for ketchup, dressings, smooth chili sauce and similar medium-viscosity products requiring accurate volumetric dosing.

Thick Pastes & Spreads

Recommended System: Pressurized piston filling

Suitable for honey, jam, peanut butter and thick pastes. A heated or pressurized hopper can improve product flow and filling consistency.

Sauces Containing Particles

Recommended System: Large-valve piston or rotor pump filling

Suitable for chili sauce, fruit jam and sauces containing seeds, pulp or small food particles. Product samples are required to confirm the valve and nozzle size.

Foaming Liquids

Recommended System: Bottom-up or diving nozzle filling

The filling nozzles rise with the liquid level to reduce splashing, foaming and product contamination around the bottle opening.

Hot-Filled Products

Recommended System: Heated and temperature-controlled filling

Heated hoppers, pipelines and filling nozzles help maintain product flow and filling consistency for temperature-sensitive sauces and pastes.

  • Product Viscosity

Select the right pump, nozzle and filling technology for liquids, sauces or thick pastes.

--FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS--

Food & Sauce Bottling Line FAQs

1. Which filling system is suitable for thick sauces?

Servo piston or pressurized piston filling systems are commonly recommended for thick sauces, pastes, jam and peanut butter. The final configuration depends on product viscosity, filling volume, temperature and particle content.

2. Can the line handle sauces containing particles?

Yes. Sauces containing fruit pieces, chili seeds or other particles can be filled using large-valve piston fillers or rotor pump systems. The valve, nozzle and feeding system are customized according to particle size and concentration.

3. Can one production line accommodate multiple bottle sizes?

Yes. Adjustable conveyors, bottle guides, filling nozzles and capping components allow one line to handle multiple bottle sizes. Change parts may be required when container shapes or cap types differ significantly.

4. Is hot filling available?

Yes. ZONESUN can configure heated hoppers, insulated pipelines, temperature-controlled filling systems and suitable nozzles for hot-filled sauces, jam, honey and other temperature-sensitive products.

5. What information is needed to customize a bottling line?

Please provide product samples or details, viscosity, particle content, filling temperature, filling volume, bottle and cap samples, required production capacity, factory layout and local electrical specifications.
