CHOOSE YOUR SLEEVE LABELING SETUP
Match sleeve application and shrinking equipment to your container and production workflow.
Assess sleeve feeding, cutting and placement for the required container and film. Confirm whether shrinking equipment is included.
Coordinate application with a suitable shrink tunnel. Review film behavior, container heat tolerance and the utilities required.
For horizontal, rotary or other handling arrangements, assess container orientation, support and format-change requirements.
Equipment scope: A sleeve applicator places the sleeve; a shrink tunnel performs the shrinking stage. Confirm the equipment included in each model or quotation.
CONTAINERS & SLEEVE APPLICATIONS
Define the finished appearance and sleeve position using actual containers and film samples.
Specify body coverage, sleeve length and the finished position. Assess the container profile and artwork after shrinking.
Define the upper and lower sleeve edges. Check shoulders, bases and changes in diameter for suitable placement.
Confirm the neck or closure area, band dimensions and required shrinking setup. Neck-band capability varies by model.
Provide diameter, height and filled weight. Assess stability, sleeve clearance and shrink behavior around shoulders.
Share the complete profile and samples. Confirm sleeve placement, handling and shrink performance for corners or taper.
Provide film material, thickness and shrink data. Assess seams, registration marks, print distortion and the finished appearance.
Sample assessment: Sleeve fit and finished appearance depend on the container, film and shrinking process. A neck band alone does not establish a validated tamper-evident package.
FROM CONTAINER FEEDING TO SHRINK FINISH
A typical workflow combines sleeve placement with a separate shrinking stage.
Present containers with stable support, orientation and spacing.
Feed and cut the sleeve to length, then place it at the required height.
Pass containers through the selected shrinking process using suitable film and exposure settings.
Check sleeve position and finish. Assess cooling or drying before downstream packing.
Process note: Steam and other heat-shrinking methods require different utilities and settings. Confirm the selected tunnel and test with actual containers and sleeves.
KEY SELECTION POINTS
Provide these six details to assess the applicator, tunnel and practical output.
Share dimensions, material, filled weight and heat tolerance. Include caps, shoulders and the actual production condition.
Provide lay-flat width, cut length, thickness, roll diameter, core size and winding direction.
Share the film supplier specifications, shrink curves and processing conditions. Confirm compatibility with the shrinking method.
Define coverage, sleeve height and artwork orientation. Identify registration marks and acceptable placement variation.
State containers per minute, batch sizes and format range. Assess application and tunnel capacity together.
Provide conveyor height, direction, available space and power. Confirm steam, air, water or drainage requirements where applicable.
AUTOMATIC BOTTLING LINES & CUSTOMIZED SOLUTIONS
Coordinate filling, capping, sleeve application, shrinking and downstream packaging.
Assess filled weight, product temperature and closure condition. Confirm that containers and contents suit the shrinking process.
Match guides and spacing to the applicator and tunnel. Review orientation, stability and transfers between stations.
Balance conveyor speed, sleeve placement and shrink exposure. Review stopping behavior and product handling during interruptions.
Confirm the selected tunnel requirements, including power and any steam supply, ventilation, drainage or water management.
Define code location and checks for sleeve presence, position or artwork. Confirm additional inspection and rejection equipment.
Assess container temperature and surface moisture before packing. Allow suitable transfer, drying or accumulation where needed.
