1. Automatic Bottle Feeding
An automatic bottle unscrambler or rotary feeding table supplies empty bottles continuously to the conveyor.
The feeding system should match the bottle shape and production speed to maintain stable downstream operation.
2. Accurate Liquid Filling
The filling machine should be selected according to product characteristics.
- Servo piston filling – suitable for lotions, creams, shampoo, and viscous products
- Pump filling – suitable for liquid soaps, sanitizers, and other free-flowing liquids
- Multi-head filling – suitable for higher production capacities
For foaming products, diving or specially designed filling nozzles can help reduce bubbles and splashing.
3. Automatic Pump Feeding & Insertion
This is one of the most important stages of pump bottle automation.
A pump feeding system sorts and delivers pumps to the insertion station. The machine then positions the pump and guides the dip tube into the bottle opening.
Because pump dimensions and dip tube lengths vary, this section often requires customization according to the actual pump and bottle samples.
4. Automatic Pump Capping
After insertion, the pump cap is tightened automatically.
The capping system should provide sufficient torque while avoiding damage to the pump head or bottle. Depending on the packaging format, spindle capping, servo capping, or customized gripping mechanisms can be used.
5. Labeling and Coding
After capping, bottles can move directly to an automatic labeling machine.
Depending on the bottle design, the line may use:
- Wrap-around labeling
- Front and back labeling
- Positioning labeling
Date coding, batch coding, inspection, and bottle collection can also be integrated.
