CHOOSE YOUR LABELING SETUP
Match automation, container handling and two-label placement to your production needs.
Assess operator-loaded equipment for smaller batches. Confirm container positioning, cycle sequence and handling of both labels.
Review guided container transport and front-and-back application for compatible bottles. Match feeding, stabilization and output.
For two labels around a cylindrical bottle, assess rotation, angular spacing and positioning. This differs from labeling two flat opposing panels.
Planning note: Two-label application may use separate heads, alternating labels on one roll or another model-specific arrangement. Confirm the actual configuration.
CONTAINERS & LABEL PANELS
Container shape and support affect front-and-back alignment and the finished appearance.
Check panel dimensions, corners, shoulders and bottle orientation. Keep both label areas accessible.
Assess curved panels, container stability and label flexibility. Confirm suitable guides and smoothing mechanisms.
Review handles, offset necks, uneven profiles and usable panels. Specialized handling may be required.
Specify label sizes and angular separation. Assess rotational positioning and any feature used as a reference.
Provide empty and filled conditions where relevant. Assess support pressure to prevent distortion or slipping.
Share both label materials and liners. Confirm detection, adhesion and appearance on the actual container.
Planning note: Taper, texture, seams and panel curvature can affect results. Evaluate actual container samples together with both labels.
FROM FEEDING TO FINISHED BOTTLE
This overview describes a typical conveyor setup; operator-loaded and rotary configurations differ.
Guide containers into the station and establish spacing appropriate to the selected application method.
Present the intended panels consistently. Use suitable guides, fixtures or hold-down arrangements.
Dispense and smooth the front and back labels in the required sequence, with position settings for each.
Inspect both positions, alignment and adhesion. Transfer bottles to the next packaging stage.
Planning note: Automatic verification and rejection require suitable inspection and handling systems. They are not included on every front-and-back labeler.
KEY SELECTION POINTS
Provide these six details to assess suitability, adjustments and practical production output.
Share width, depth or diameter, height, weight, material and shape. Include every planned format.
Provide front and back sizes, materials, liner widths and roll dimensions. Confirm winding direction and label sequence.
Mark application heights, edge clearances and relative alignment. For round bottles, define angular spacing.
State bottles per minute, working hours and operator involvement. Assess output with the actual two-label cycle.
List all bottle and label combinations. Check tooling, stabilization and adjustment limits for each format.
Provide floor space, conveyor height and direction, power and any model-specific air requirements.
AUTOMATED BOTTLING & CUSTOMIZED SOLUTIONS
Coordinate the station with filling, capping, coding and downstream packaging.
Assess bottle presentation so the intended front and back panels reach the applicators consistently.
Plan around filled weight, closure handling, surface moisture and stable movement between machines.
Match speed, height, direction and transfer gaps. Confirm spacing, accumulation and control compatibility.
Identify which label or container area carries the code. Assess print access, timing and a suitable coder.
Define checks for label presence, position and correct artwork on each side. Confirm the required cameras and rejection setup.
Allow space to replace both rolls, adjust guides and maintain applicators. Plan transfer to packing equipment.
