Collection: Die cutting machines

CHOOSE BY PRODUCTION TASK

Find the Right Stamping & Leathercraft Solution

Start with the result you want to achieve, then match the equipment, tooling and consumables to the task.

Hot Foil Stamping

Apply foil decoration to compatible materials using suitable dies, foil, heat and pressure settings.

Digital Foil Printing

Assess digital foil printing for supported artwork and substrates. Check model-specific media limits and consumables.

Embossing & Debossing

Evaluate an impression without foil using compatible tooling and equipment. Material response and support determine the finish.

Die Cutting

Match a cutting machine and die to the material, shape, thickness and required cutting area.

Custom Stamps & Letter Sets

Prepare logos, initials or lettering with the required artwork dimensions and compatible mounting arrangement.

Leathercraft Tools & Foils

Select workshop tools and stamping consumables around the material, operation and existing equipment.

Different tasks need different setups: Foil stamping, digital foil printing, impression work and die cutting are separate processes. Confirm the actual capabilities of each selected machine.

BRANDING & WORKSHOP APPLICATIONS

Plan Your Product Finish

Use the actual material and design to assess a suitable process and tooling combination.

Leather Goods & Accessories

Evaluate logos, initials and cut components for suitable wallets, belts, bags or other leatherwork.

Paper & Card Packaging

Assess foil decoration or die-cut shapes on compatible paper and card, considering coatings and thickness.

Personalized Gifts

Review names, monograms and custom designs for supported materials and practical artwork sizes.

Tags & Small Components

Check access, support and positioning for small items before selecting stamps, dies or fixtures.

Prototype & Small-Batch Work

Plan manual handling, tooling changes and setup checks around varied designs and short production runs.

Repeat Workshop Production

Assess working area, output, positioning and changeover needs for repeated designs and product formats.

FROM DESIGN TO FINISHED PRODUCT

Build a Practical Workshop Workflow

Coordinate material preparation, tooling and finishing checks around your chosen process.

  1. 01

    Define the Result

Confirm material, dimensions, artwork and whether the task is foil decoration, impression work or cutting.

  2. 02

    Prepare the Setup

Fit compatible tooling, prepare consumables and support the workpiece for consistent positioning.

  3. 03

    Test & Produce

Test on sample material, adjust supported settings and begin production after the result is approved.

  4. 04

    Inspect & Finish

Check detail, position, foil adhesion or cut completeness, then complete any required finishing.

Sequence matters: Cutting, stamping and assembly may take place in different orders. Choose the sequence around access to the work area, material stability and protection of the finished surface.

KEY SELECTION POINTS

What to Check Before Choosing Equipment

Provide these six details to help assess equipment, tooling and consumables together.

Material & Thickness

Specify leather type, paper, card or another substrate, including coatings and thickness. Provide actual samples.

Process & Desired Finish

Confirm foil decoration, digital printing, embossing, debossing or cutting, plus the expected appearance.

Artwork & Working Area

Share design files, smallest detail and overall dimensions. Check the supported machine and tooling area.

Tooling & Mounting

Identify die dimensions, stamp fixing method, holders and any existing equipment that must remain compatible.

Output & Changeovers

State required output, batch sizes and design changes. Include positioning, setup and handling time.

Utilities & Consumables

Check power, any compressed air requirements, operating space, compatible foils and replacement tooling.

CUSTOM TOOLING & EQUIPMENT MATCHING

Configure the Setup Around Your Project

Discuss custom tooling and practical equipment options based on your material, design and workshop requirements.

Custom Logo Stamps

Review artwork, stamp dimensions and mounting requirements for the proposed branding task.

Letter Sets & Holders

Check character sizes, supplied characters, holder capacity and machine compatibility.

Custom Cutting Dies

Assess cutting outlines, dimensions and material requirements alongside the selected cutting equipment.

Positioning & Support

Review guides, fixtures and backing surfaces for consistent workpiece location and support.

Foil & Material Trials

Evaluate suitable foil grades and settings on samples before confirming the intended finish.

Workshop Layout & Changeovers

Plan operator access, tooling changes, material handling and equipment space around the production task.

STAMPING & LEATHERCRAFT FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the difference between hot foil stamping and digital foil printing?
Hot foil stamping generally uses a physical die with heat and pressure. Digital foil printing uses a different, model-specific printing system. Artwork preparation, media compatibility and consumables must be confirmed for the actual equipment.
2. Can a hot stamping machine also emboss or deboss?
Some suitable configurations can create an impression without foil, but this depends on tooling, pressure, support and material response. Raised embossing may require matching counter-tooling. Confirm the intended result with samples.
3. Can one machine work with every type of leather and paper?
No. Thickness, coatings, texture and heat sensitivity affect suitability. Assess each material with the appropriate process, tooling and consumables.
4. Can I order a custom logo stamp or cutting die?
Custom tooling can be assessed from your artwork or cutting outline. Provide dimensions, material details and the machine or mounting arrangement that the tooling must fit.
5. Will a cutting die fit any die cutting machine?
No. Die height, dimensions, mounting or support and the required cutting force must match the equipment. Confirm compatibility before ordering.
6. Are foils, stamps and other accessories included?
Included items vary by product and quotation. Confirm the supplied tooling, holders, foils and other accessories, plus any items that must be ordered separately.
7. What information should I provide for a recommendation?
Share the material sample, thickness, artwork or cutting outline, desired finish, dimensions and required output. Include details of existing equipment and any mounting or workspace constraints.
